Quinn makes me out to be a fibber more often then not.   So Quinn got a temp on Monday, and so she could not go to school on Tuesday and was feeling pretty rough.  So then we went to the doctor on Tuesday and got an antibiotic, and she slept pretty bad Tuesday night.  So we did send her to school as she was saying she wanted to go, and she did ok, she would not talk to anyone, and was acting tired, like I thought she would, but I am not going to keep her home just because she choose not to go to sleep.  So she went, and besides not wanting to talk to anyone had an ok day, but then I heard that she was pretty tired, so I called her dance teacher to let her know she would not make it to dance class.  So once I saw her after school, she started talking up a storm, telling me how she wanted to go to therapy and stand and roll down the hill, and then we got to therapy and she told me, she wanted to go to dance class, and would be super good, so we did it, and she was amazing there.  I tell you what, I never know what to expect with her.  The best part of the day was that she gave out huge belly laughs, so she is feeling better, we got some at therapy, at dance class, and getting tucked into bed.  I have prayed over and over since Quinn was small,  that Quinn would be able to have emotions, and she sure does.  She is crazy smart, well behaved, and is full of emotions!  Oh I love her, and to see her talking up a storm, and making sense, along with huge belly laughs, oh she is getting over this bug fast, and I'm so thankful!

So the pictures are from dance class, that still makes my heart happy every time I go there.  There are so many amazing adults there to help out and love on our kids, and the instructor really understand what our kids can do, and that is a great deal, and she can pull that out of them.  So if any of you want a happy moment next Wednesday, feel free to come to her recital, it's going to be wonderful!

Wow, what a week, two snow days followed up by a weekend, and everyone was doing great, then Monday hits Quinn with another big bad cold.  So Tuesday she got to stay home with dad and is on antibiotics again!  Oh let's get through this yucky season!

Quinn made it back to school today in time to do some fun Dr. Seuss projects.  So we are glad she is there, and so thankful for her nurses.  I know that even though she does not feel great, that she sure will be taken great care of, and I am so thankful for that.

Sometimes we find a quote we need, that I feel was put there just for me.  As I was reading another blog, that I just love, she ended with this quote.

I've taken the Carrie Bradshaw approach to this:  "Sometimes we need to stop analyzing the past, stop planning the future, stop figuring out precisely how we feel, stop deciding exactly what we want, and just see what happens.Just see what happens

Oh, I needed that so much right now.  Stop worrying, stop planning, and Just see what happens.
Reading!

Grandma was reading the kids books before bed the other night.  All three of them were curled up on the couch listening.  (I still can't post their pictures and so I had to blur out two of them)  Quinn was so funny.  She started by totally listening and paying attention.  Then she saw me get my camera out, as they were all so darn cute listening to the book.  Well, Quinn decided to start posing for the camera and totally stopped paying attention to the book.  I have numerous pictures where she is giggling, laughing, and posing, after so many good ones where she was paying attention.  She kept checking out the pages of the book, after I had the camera out and would peek out of the corner of her eyes to see if I was still paying attention and if I still had the camera out.  Once I put it away again, she totally focused on the book once again.
It has been so fun watching her lately.  She seems to be so much more with it.  Answering questions faster, talking more, working harder.  I don't know if it is motivation from the kids or the fact that we are taking her off of one of her meds.  Either way, I just love it that she is really doing so great right now.  Oh to my little diva who poses for the camera, I love you so much!

Grandma Vicki came down to play with all of us for the weekend!  We went to the zoo, here we are in the butter fly garden, and Quinn was loving it!  The weather was beautiful, and it made us excited for summer, instead of warm weather, it is looking like we might be getting about 10 or more inches of snow.  So glad we took the time to go play on the beautiful Sunday!  We went out to eat a few times while grandma was here, and Quinn wanted to eat what ever the other two were eating and did great with it.  Oh it is so nice to have a house full, and they are still all getting along so well.  We are blessed. Sometimes it would be nice to know what the future holds for us, but at the same time, learning to be thankful for each day is something nice as well.

Happy Valentines Day!
We once again had all these big plans that got changed due to every girl in our house not feeling good.  Quinn came home from school early yesterday, and our other one came home early today, and Quinn was home all day.  For both of them not feeling good they were competing to see who could sing louder, yup, that kind of sick.  OK, neither one can eat anything, but past that they are feeling ok.  So we will see what tomorrow holds.  The two boys got to go to McDonalds tonight and then hang out in the basement, hoping they don't get sick.
John and I did get the sweetest Valentine, and it's not from Quinn.  It's the first time she has written mom and dad on it.  She still calls us by our names, and we are fine with what ever she calls us, but she was so excited to share the Valentine she made us.  Oh, for us not feeling great physically, our hearts sure are full today!
Blessings - Susan

Oh, I love you to the moon and back!  I still say watching your baby sleep is the best thing ever!

Quinn has been fighting a cold or something and is not feeling the greatest.  Everyone else is doing ok. I'm working on a few painting right now, so we will see how those go.

We also have Quinn's IEP meeting, where we set our goals for what we hope to have happen next year, so here is hoping and praying it goes well.

Past that, I've had meetings and conferences, so I feel like I have not gotten to see the kids all that much this week, here is hoping that changes, and I get some quality time with them soon.

Oh, and wait until I get a picture of Quinn's new fancy coat on here.  Chrissy came over and basically created the greatest coat for Quinn, and I ment to get some pictures, but here is hoping I will remember to show them next week.

I'm not the biggest fan of The Christmas Movie,  but I do have to say I love the part where Ralphie can't move his arms, because he is so bundled in his coats and all.  Quinn made me thing of that as I hung out with her, while the kids were sledding.  This was the first day for all three kids to go sledding, and we all had so much fun.

There John is sledding with Quinn, and our little helper there to help out as much as possible!  What a great day!

A few more pictures from Chuck E Cheese!  Quinn had so much fun thanks to Chrissy working so hard!  Thanks Chrissy!

Finally bright and early this morning we woke up and came to school early to see the chicks!  All three kids loved them.  Quinn was still pretty tired, but did a great job!  Nurse Melissa came with us!  Finally I've got a picture of all three kids on Quinn's blog, you can't see them, but they are still on here!  Yeah! Oh we are working on time management at our house right now.  I don't understand how kids can have so much energy but at the same time can be so pokey and slow when we are trying to get ready for something!  Still we are loving the last few weeks.  I find myself falling asleep at 9:00 and sleeping really good, but we are having a great time!
