It was a fun, busy weekend!
Isaiah and I went to a wedding, and it was beautiful, then we got to his dance competition that was running early with about 5 minutes before he went on.

Isaiah had his final dance competition!  It went great.
I though this shirt was great and I want one.

We had to celebrate with Red Lobster after a great competition season.
Chrissy took the girls to the Make a Wish party and they had fun.

 They played lots of games.

John had to work and had the pleasure of hanging with our foster care kiddo.
I've said it before, but doing foster care is emotional.
There are amazing things that happen.  Seeing how he has grown and matured.
Seeing how my kids interact with him, with love and care.
Seeing him interact with them sharing so much love.
It is amazing!
It is also exhausting having so many people outside of our family
try to micromanage things, when they do not have the whole picture.
Thankfully we have a couple great caseworkers who have our back.
We know that foster care with this special kiddo will be done this summer, so we are working hard to love him and take the best care of him now, knowing we only have a few months left to care for him.
Any of you thinking this is something you can do, please do it, so many kids need us to share our love with them.  It's not always easy, but is so very worth it!

Finally it has been nice enough to get outside, so we had to grill out.
Then we got to go to an easter egg hunt.  It was postponed a few times due to weather, but we are thankful they did not give up.  It was given for kids with special needs and their siblings.
The cool thing is that a helicopter came in and  dropped 10,000 eggs.
It was so nice, it was not crowded and kids were so kind to keep bringing Quinn eggs.
It was so relaxed and fun.

Another fun opportunity!
It's nice to have these fun moments to bank into our bank,
to make up for some of life not so fun moments!
Thank you to the church that sponsors this.
It was wonderful to see families we know and see the kindness of others.

Yikes!  This time of year flies by!
Our school is doing a fun Dr Seuss Musical, so in turn, we are working hard on a number of art projects based on Dr Seuss.  Here is one digital project we are doing.  I had to bring the family in to play with it too.  It turned out pretty good!

Denali and Isaiah are in the greatest program where because they were in foster care,
they get to have a mentor to guide them and help them enjoy life.
It would be great if all kids could have mentors.  We are so grateful for this program.
Isaiah went horse back riding with his mentor.
Then our life is all about dance.
With more competitions coming up and recitals coming up, we are
busy practicing.
This time of year we get tired too.
So resting and taking care of ourselves is also a big deal.
So thankful for Miss Stephanie and Chase the Spirit of Dance along with Dancing Beyond Limits and all the support we get there.

This trio number makes me so happy!  The kids are doing great with it!

We had another dance class and I was so excited to see Isaiah's dance partner there.
They are a great match!

Denali is still doing great with her partner.
Quinn is also doing great with her partner.
We also went to see the Harlem Globe Trotters, they were fun.
Then we saw Lily's wheelchair basketball, and that was so fun!  She did great!

 What a fun experience.

Dance class started again.
We have some new kids and it is great to see their parents love it, and see the tears in their eyes.
Knowing other families can love it like we do is so wonderful!
It is truly a magical place.
The smile that Quinn has on her face while she dances is priceless.
Many other mom's were even talking about her smile tonight!
Such a great program!  So thankful!
Quinn's partner is Stephanie and they loved dancing together!

My three got to do their trio dance for a few folks and it was beautiful again!

We got to meet the authors of the book Mustaches for Maddie, [Chad Morris and Shelly Brown and cool enough we also met Maddie.  The book and their mission is all about Compassion in action.  That is so great.  So we had to go to their book signing.

http://www.mustachesformaddie.com/  check out their website.
After a week full of fun, (and allergies)  Quinn decided to sleep through half a day of school and almost all of therapy.

I hope she slept good because more fun awaits us!
Thanks for checking in.
