Wow, a super busy week!  We had our Lincoln dance recital Tuesday.  It was wonderful.  The warm feelings you get with those amazing people is just wonderful!

Quinn's partner, Karen is such a great person.  We have met amazing people through this program!  So thankful!

There was troupe dancing, Lily danced and our trio danced.
I was bawling during it.
I have been spoiled with it lately, as they danced it here and there in Omaha or Lincoln for the last month, every weekend.  This might have been it!  We might not dance it again, and I loved it!
I loved the music, I loved the words, I loved the emotions that people could feel watching it.
I loved how my kids would get nervous ahead of time, and yet would do great.
I loved how they worked as a team, and supported each other.
I loved how hard they worked on it.
I am really thankful to Stephanie for her time she spent with the kids on the choreography.
What beautiful memories we will have from this, and who knows when or where we might get to do it again.
Look at the air on this picture of Isaiah doing one of his hip hop moves.
 Lily did great as usual!
The team of dancers were beautiful!
A mix of all the different dances of the night!  Beautiful!

This week also was full of doctor appointments,  band performances, and a performance with the Symphony.  So I will have more to post soon!
Lots of love to you all!

Happy Thanksgiving!
Quinn talked about how she is thankful for her therapists!
She is getting better and better at driving!

Denali is thankful for her dance buddy!
Finally we wrote out things we are thankful for, and Denali wrote about her buddy at dance.  What a good kid.  You can click on the picture to see it better.
Isaiah is thankful for his family!
In fact this weekend was our anniversary of our adoption day!

We started off Saturday by putting together the tree.
Then we went to support Starry Night, a weekend of fun to support our City Mission.
Here I am talking to Quinn to figure out what she wanted from Santa.  She was undecided.
and our picture with Santa.
Quinn's buddy is so wonderful this year.  We love dance!
They have lots of trees there to bid on, we liked this one.
Chase Dance - danced.
We did our trio dance.
If you have not seen their dance or want to see it again,
here you go

Our friends also danced, such as Lily, who is always amazing!
We even made it on the news.

Then back home.  We got the kids phones.
They claim to be the last kids in the whole school to get phones, and that might be true, but I was not in a hurry to get them.  With all the good is also bad, and I don't want them to get hurt in any way.  So they had to hang out by the tree learning and playing with their phones.
Then we have the tradition of sleeping under the tree the first night, and Denali is the only one who made it this year.  Good job Denali!  Tradition is big with this one.

Another fun weekend.
Quinn was home a couple days at the end of the week.
Some yucky stuff happened at school and she takes things so hard, and heard somethings about an accident that really hit her hard.  I got there and she was bawling and after getting her calmed down she slept for two days straight.
Saturday a snowstorm came in, so the dance recital in Omaha was changed.
Sunday we went to the zoo.  We needed to go into the desert and warm up.
We learned Denali is scared of big butterflies.

I love seeing these three so happy.

Then we went and danced with the Omaha Dancing Beyond Limits group.
It was so fun.  After my kids dance, I saw tears, and had so many nice things said to us about the dance.  It is pretty powerful!

There is one part where Denali gets run over, and we always get a reaction there as well.

Then my kids jumped in and danced with them here or there and cheered them on.

So another fun weekend, helping folks see that we all have so much to share.  So proud of my kids for helping share the love!
Happy Thanksgiving!  We have so much to be thankful for!
