Oh boy, a fun story to share with you.
Quinn was at food school, eating with Stacie, and I told Stacie how Quinn has been acting like she is sleeping instead of eating with me.
Then Quinn promptly shut her eyes, Stacie just kept feeding her mac and cheese and she kept chewing and swallowing, so we know she was not sleeping.  I mentioned how she did not jerk her arms, like she has been lately and how I really don't like it, it scares me, but the doctors have seen it and are not worried about it yet.  So she heard me say that, and she musters all her might to pick up her arm and shake it, it was nothing like her jerks, but the fact that she tried to make us think she was sleeping, when she was not, and she tried to make her body jerk to prove she was sleeping was awesome, in a naughty way.
Then we go to dance class, and she has her communication device on her manual chair.  Her buddy is so excited to hear her talk, and she turns away from the screen and will not even look at the computer.  She was in a mood that night!  Then her therapist walks in with her baby, and Quinn gets excited.  I tell her that she needs to be nice and talk, if she wants to see the baby.
So within seconds, she types in What?  I must see the baby!
Oh I love her and her naughty spunk!  So she got to hold the baby.
Both girls did, and they loved it!  I got to to, and she sure is a sweet heart.
Then we celebrated Grandma's birthday, then Quinn was pooped out, after some drama at the school, and being worried about a friend, Quinn started bawling at school, and would not stop, so I went and got her, and we got some cuddles in and Quinn slept for the last two days.  She can get so emotional, when people around her do.  We also have a couple new night nurses, and that always makes her not sleep great for awhile, but if I had folks in my personal space that I did not know, I would not be ok either, so we have had a few days of resting.  We will see how she is doing, because we have a recital tomorrow.  So hoping for healthy kids, healthy friends, and weather that lets us drive out of town safely.
