Spring Break is starting off busy!
The girls had a girls night.
Learning about growing up!
I don't know how they get big so fast!
Then we did some art projects.

Then we got molded for Quinn's new wheelchair.  It's going to be so good to get her into one that fits again.  She was so excited.

The chair is like a beanbag, and they suck all the air out of it, for it to hold the shape around her body.  Then they either plaster it or scan it with technology to send the shape to the company to get it to fit just right!

then off to therapy.
then the dentist, no cavities for anyone!

Denali is not a fan of the dentist, but got through it!  Now to have some fun!

Denali was playing dolls with Quinn and decided to make brownies instead.  So she asked Isaiah if he would play dolls with Quinn so she could make brownies.  He being the awesome kid he is, said sure.  So the two of them played dolls for awhile.  I'm so thankful for my family!  I'm thankful Isaiah has a great dad, who will play dolls with the girls too, so it's not a big deal!

Grandma and Grandpa were down too, and it was nice because it was way to long since we saw them last.  Night time prayers and reading books with grandma is always wonderful too!  As they get bigger and bigger we have to keep reading and loving them up while we can.

Denali was ready and had been working hard for lots of time to grow out her hair, so she could donate it to kids who have lost their hair.

Isaiah got a haircut too, but was not very excited about it!

Just look at how cute she is, and sadly more grown up!

The kids have their book parade at school Friday. Isaiah is John Thornton from call of the wild, Denali is Piper from Star Darling, and Quinn is Emily Lou Who from the Grinch! What a fun busy morning getting ready!

Quinn has been working hard at not working at school.
So today she came home to tell us - Awesome, I fooled you!
Both Isaiah and Denali, looked at me and looked at her and said,
Quinn you are so grounded.  That is not nice.
Then at bedtime, Quinn told us she was tired and wanted to go to bed early!
Not because she was in trouble!
Part of me is frustrated with her, while the other part of me, says
you go Quinn.  You have limited control of what you can control, and
you are figuring out what you can do.
I just worry about where she is going to land, when she does not work for everyone, but picks and chooses.
Oh Lord, we will keep praying for her to show off for everyone, not just for some!

She did a good job at therapy, but she loves therapy and will giggle as soon as she sees where we are going.  Now to get her to giggle at school and work hard there.
Part of the time, Jan was helping Quinn balance, Quinn was standing, Isaiah was helping her push through her hands, Denali had her lower legs, and I had her upper legs.
She has a great team willing to help her out.
I am so grateful for her wonderful team.

We have a drama queen in the house!

Monday, February 27, 2017

The weather has been crazy here, but on our way home, we saw the tree's were all icy, and the sun looked beautiful, so we had to pull over and take some pictures.  God makes beautiful artwork.
Then here is a picture of how my morning was made, I was getting things ready, and I hear voices, and Denali and Quinn are talking and playing, and it was beautiful!  I love love love how my kids love each other.
Quinn has not been feeling great and is missing her second day of school due to a temp, and Denali checked the clock and told her that she had 7 minutes to play before she had to go get her morning routine going.
What a wonderful morning!
