Time is flying by so very fast!
Spring break happened, and I took Denali and Isaiah to Vegas.
They learned a lot about life and strange people.
We walked all over and continued to see interesting people.
That was the high light for both of them, as they told folks about the trip.

We also went to the Valley of Fire!
If you are in the area go, it is so cool!

All three of us are in the picture, Isaiah is just little bitty on the top of the rock behind us.

So thankful for grandparents, dad, and Katherine for loving up Quinn and giving her a great time as well!
It is always hard to find the perfect balance of how to give them all what they need, but we keep trying our best.

So thankful for the memories.

This month we met family at the zoo.  So great to spend time with family!!!

After Quinn's trip to the hospital in December, she has been sleeping so much!
Finally we have seizures under control, now we need to focus on getting her off some meds so she is not so tired.

We are busy with school, boyscouts, dance, and med checks.

Have some fun dance stuff for both the girls coming up, Isaiah is busy with boyscouts and searching for a summer job, and looking forward to spring break.

Blessings!

What a busy month.

Isaiah had his 17th birthday.

Denali had a dance convention and we always do a photoshoot.

Isaiah went along and we had fun when Denali was dancing.

We also went skiing.  Isaiah has wanted to for so long.
Nothing was broken so we will call it a win!

Quinn loved her time with the grandparents.

Quinn is still working on med changes.  She is sleeping a lot and we are working on how we can help her best.

 Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

Time keeps ticking by so fast.  I want it to slow down because before I know it, my kids will be changing chapters in their lives and I love having them with me now.

Isaiah

Has an earbud connected to his head all the time.  He is a great kid.  He is into boy scouts right now and has figured out he loves archery.  He is in 11th grade and has started taking classes to figure out what he wants to do as he gets older.  He has lots of ideas, but does not have to figure it out yet.

He has a great sense of humor and is always willing to jump in and help out with all kinds of things.  He is also doing a great job at church with the youth group.

Quinn

Quinn is in 10th grade, she got lots of new teachers this year, but is doing pretty good now.  She had a big hospital visit to figure out how we can help her brain not be so jumpy and we are following up and changing meds around.

She is going to do band and we have some cool technology that we are going to use this year, so here is hoping that goes well.

She also is dancing and dancing and dancing, and it is so good for all of us.

here is the trio that is dancing together this year.  Her sister and a friend.

look at that smile.  We love dance.

Denali

Denali is in 10th grade and stays busy dancing with her groups and helping with Quinn's group.  She is busy with band, she plays the clarinet and is also now playing the trumpet as well.  Between band and dance her nights are full, so it keeps her out of trouble.  She is already looking at the future and has all kinds of big ideas, we will see where they take her!

John is working hard, and still remote, he loves that he does not have to drive in the bad weather.  At times you can find him in his pajama pants and a dress shirt.  He is a taxi cab for Denali most evenings as well, or spending time loving up his mom.
I am still teaching, and thankful to have a job that keeps me on my toes and able to share my creativity with lots and lots of kids.  Past that I am loving up my kids, they are pretty great!

These two keep up busy too, Colbalt and Buttercup are in charge of the house and will let us know as soon as anyone is near, and love us up, and you can't beat that.

We have finally gotten to spend time with family again, and that is so good.

We have also gotten to get out and do some exploring, so thankful for that.

So keeping it short and sweet, as I have to get ready for a big day of teaching.
Blessing to you all, and here is to a wonderful new year.

The Otte's

Quinn's group just danced with the Lincoln symphony, and it was wonderful.  We had our practice day and two performances, and it was great.  Quinn gets so nervous ahead of time, but then loves it when she calms down.  So thankful for this program!
