Last weekend, the kids got to go hang out with Amelia and Miles, all three of them, at their church, with other kids, and everyone got to have some fun. John was all excited to go do something, but due to me not feeling good, I got to go rest instead. The kids had lots of fun and created some wonderful artwork.

I love having a playground right behind our backyard. When we bought the land, there was an empty pasture, with nothing, so we had no idea what would end up going back there, and now we have lots of things that we have been fortunate enough to get permissions to use. So I took a break from cooking dinner to get a picture from our deck. They are playing 4 square. Sounds like Quinn was the winner with a little help from everyone. I actually was going to keep Quinn inside and have her help me cook, but she was pipping up saying she wanted to go play, so we bundled her up as well. It was a bit chilly, but finally warn enough to get outside, and we are ready to get outside.
Quinn's IEP was this last week, and to say it went well, is an understatement. Last year, I felt like the parent that cried wolf, I was saying she was doing all this stuff that only one other person at school was seeing it. This year I went in, and her goals were mostly based on staying on track with the curriculum. Spelling was based on her getting 95% right even! Wow! I appreciate how one extra goal, is for her to stop blurting out and have manners, just like most other 1st graders! I've said it before and I'll say it again, I love Maxey. Quinn is finally showing more folks how smart she is. It's not everyone yet, but it's much better then before!
