The Otte's

Well we are ending our summer with a bang.

I got to spend a weekend at the Elms Hotel, a bit north of KC.

My dear high school friends and I celebrated and had a girls weekend. 

It was great.  I'm not much for laying around a pool, but we did that all day Saturday and it was great.  Not once did I hear: I'm board, or I'm hungry, or read to me, or I need to go potty.  Granted I am so thankful to hear my beautiful kids, but for a weekend with girl friends, it was wonderful!

 

 The kids had as much, if not more fun with Grandma Vicki, Grandma Pat, and Karissa, as they partied here in Lincoln.  What a blessing to have good friends and family!
