Opening gifts!
The kids had so much fun!
Then we headed to St. Louis for the big American Girl experience.
I have to say that last year at this time I said there is no way I'm going to buy the girls dolls that are so expensive, it's crazy. However the girls broke me down, but I decided to make an experience out of it. They had to save their money for almost a year, and it was hard and a good experience. They also had to donate some of their money to a good cause, and we talked a lot about wants and needs, and how it's ok to have some nice things, but to be reasonable about it. So I went into the American Girl Store feeling like we learned so much, and the girls now have their dolls. Pictures to come!
Quinn was not feeling all that great, and slept almost the entire drive to get there, which was about 8 hours due to a few traffic jams.
