It was a fun day!

Adoption day for two families we love.

 We got to play, get our hair done, get balloons, faces painted.

 The hearing was wonderful!  Congrats!

 It also brought up lots of memories!  This year was hard for both my adopted kids.  Our adoption day anniversary was hard and today was also hard.  We have done lots of talking.  We have talked about how people make bad choices, but how that does not make them bad people.  We have talked a lot about drugs, and how horrible they are.  We have talked about how lucky God put us all together, and how it is so wonderful, it's also sad in some ways and it's ok to have all those feelings.  I'm so thankful we have the experiences we have, so we can talk.  Talking and loving each other does amazing things!  We are blessed and we know it.  It does not mean life is easy, but that helps us grow too.

 Then it snowed!  That is fun!

Finally thanks to a friend, we got to shop for kids in need, and we did not even have to pay for it.  A big shout out to Shopko for donating lots of gifts to kids in need!  We had lots of fun finding special gifts for special kids!  The Christmas season is pretty special!
