Isaiah had his drive through graduation from Middle School.
He got Persistence, and that is so perfect for him.
He has great persistence where he will follow through and continue to do his best with everything he puts his mind to.
We had to drive through and get him a celebration smoothie!
We don't get many picts of all of us, so we had a few things we were doing and got a pict of all of us.
So after we picked up Isaiah's stuff, he volunteered to help Quinn with her zoom class.
They make my heart so happy together.
Isaiah really listens to Quinn and helps her answer questions and really supports her in such a wonderful way.  They have the computer with the zoom meeting so she can see her teachers and classmates, and then she also has her computer that she can use her eyes to answer questions and then Isaiah helps share her answers with the class on the video.  Pretty awesome.

That is hard work so we needed to rest.
It was Buttercup who needed to have some Quinn time next.

And finally our quarantine, we now have a High School Student party.
He got his first job and will be detassaling this summer.  It will be hard, but he is a strong kid, and  I know he can do it, so he now can a cooler, and long sleeves and long slick pants.  Then a few other fun things that high school kids need.
So thankful to have such a sweet, smart, strong, wonderful, calm, high school son!

Well, we had our first ever, (yes, I am surprised too) 911 call.
Quinn had a seizure that would not stop.
I give major praise to the 911 operator, the fire department and ambulance crew.  Within minutes we had a room full of people, who were calm and quick and kind.  They were impressive and I am so thankful for them.  Here are the only pictures we got of the crazy few minutes, the firetruck leaving the house after the ambulance.

They got her seizures under control in the ambulance but wanted to make sure Quinn was ok, so she got to take a second ambulance from St. E's to Childrens.
She basically slept for 24 hours straight.  I still did my zoom meetings, and worked from the hospital.  She got test after test and it looks like she had an infection and is now doing find.

We had a nice view.  Seeing this view of her color looking good and being calm was the best view.
The hospital was doing great with having masks, checking badges, keeping everyone safe.

Chatted with the kids here and there along the way.  So thankful for the technology.

After a quick couple days, we were ready to go home!

And all is well with the world, or as much as possible right now.

Yikes a bad case of food poisoning from Mothers Day!  Yuck!  But everyone stepped up and helped out and I survived, so let's start this week, just a bit late.

Working from home is ok.  I get to hang with my kids and do lots of projects and collaborate with other teachers on lessons, so I have learned a lot and worked hard, much harder then if I would have been in my classroom, but I miss my students.!
Quinn has had a big growth spurt and thanks to Chrissy for coming over and helping her make her stander work for her again.

Quinn is almost as tall as Denali now that the stander has grown.
Quinn had to wear her mask during the appointment too.
It was exhausting getting that stander to work, so Quinn slept the rest of the day!
Isaiah still says he could do school at home forever, then he has more time to hang out with his friends!  In the evening after work is done.
I needed some stools for the table I made, so I made some stools, and they were much harder then the table.

They are still in progress so we will see how far we get by next week.
Here is Quinn's new nurse, and we love her so.  Quinn always takes a bit to get use to new people, but she is doing great.  We are going to appreciate her while we have her, as we know she is going to be moving out of Lincoln in the future sometime, so we will be thankful for her while we get the love from her now.
Quinn is loving stander time again, and that is great!
Oh we are now to the sanding stage.  I would say we are going into the building business, but we are about out of scrap wood, so we are going to need to figure out something else to keep us busy.

Learning from home was hard the last couple weeks, but I think we are getting into a grove again.  We are doing science experiments, zoom meetings, presentations, and thankfully, I still get to do lots of art, to share with my students and give ideas.  Actually my kids have gotten to as well, to use as examples.

We are also busy with:
Hair, the girls don't always let me play with their hair, but I have gotten to lately.

We built a table from scratch.  We keep talking about using what you have around you to make something, so we did just that.

 We planted new plants.

 We had school zoom meetings.
We keep practicing eating and swallowing.

We have been getting in the stander, but honestly, keeping it real.  She is hating it, but thankfully we are having Chrissy come out and help us readjust it so she can tolerate it again.

After Quinn being so upset, Buttercup has to go and protect her from me for a bit.
Then after a hard morning, they get in some documentary time.  Disney really has some great documentaries if you want to learn about animals and places and cool stuff.
We got up really early and delivered a few May Baskets but kept our distance from everyone.

Buttercup is loving everyone being home so much.  I don't know what she is going to do when things change up again.

We are getting lots of use out of the deck.  The weather has been pretty nice lately, and we can use a new view.
Sometimes a fort is needed as well.

So onto another week of learning and growing and creating!  Blessings everyone.
