Well, I changed the header! I'm still working on what to write about, but basically this blog is simply to share our stories, good and not so good, as is life, but we are always going to try our best to stay positive and keep a healthy outlook. So now you can see all three kids in the header and we will go from there.
The girls got haircuts, and colored pieces put in their hair. This is a big deal, one of the foster care rules, is no haircuts without permission, so it was exciting, to be able to get a haircut when ever we want. The colored hairs are held in by a bead, so we talked to the girls about how not to touch it or brush it or it will fall out. So the next day Denali came up to me and said, you have to brush my colored hair. Yeah, she remembered. Then not more then a minute later, she came in to me bawling, with her pink hair stuck in the brush. I asked her what happened, and she said she brushed it, right after telling me she should not do it. Thankfully, our hair girl gave us directions on how to put them back in, but a consequence was Denali did not get to have her colored hair for a day, and that was hard! Oh consequences are hard. Both girls got 3 inches cut off, and they look so cute now!
We also went to Frozen. Our opinion, is it was better then the previews, but not as good as the Lion King, as it's being advertised. Do you see, as soon as we sat down, Isaiah dropped half of his popcorn! Oh it's hard being a kid some days! The weather was great last weekend, we went on walks and walked around downtown. It was beautiful! In the 60's. Now it's right at 0 with a horrible wind chill! Oh winter in Nebraska, ugggg.
