What a fun weekend!

Dance Troup Pictures!  Full of friends, full of bugs, and full of smiles!  This year is looking very different for dance and Denali is very excited about it!

 

Well at home we have been taking naps!

School is good, but exhausting!

Denali came in with me to do an emotion project where kids make mouths of some kind and then we are using a photo booth to take pictures.  We are trying hard to making learning fun this year with everything else going on in the world.

 

School has started.

Is it scary?  Yes and No, we have good staff, good nurses, good teachers, and a plan that is always changing to be the best it can.

 

 Whew, school started for me, and it has been busy, my kids start in the next few days, and to say we have been busy is crazy, we have been busy getting things together, figuring out how we can all stay safe and keep learning.  It is a lot!  I can say, that we survived today and that is a good start.

I went home to this the other day.  Buttercup thinks Quinn is her's so she is having a hard time sharing with Cobalt, but how cute that they both had to give her some puppy love.  

So prayers and good vibes to all the teachers and students out there.  You keeping kids home, great!  You sending them great!  There are no right or wrong answers right now, just be kind and wear your mask!  

Quinn got fitted for new braces!  She was so excited to leave the house again.  It is always interesting getting out and it feels so different taking her out now.

Last Sunday we got to bring Cobalt Sea home.

He is a mini aussie.

He loves to cuddle when he is tired.

He hates to be by himself.

He loves to follow Denali and Buttercup.

He chews on everything!

He is such a good dog.

 Buttercup is not sure of him yet.  He tries to play with her and ends up knocking her over and she is not a fan of that.

 He has a green eye and a blue eye.

Denali says that we need to keep things fair and what ever we do for one dog, we need to do for the other dog! :)

 The first couple nights we had him in the mud room, but Denali had to sleep in there or he would cry so now he is in her room.  He has claimed her as his human and follows her around the house all the time.  He might give her a break and play with the rest of us once in awhile, but most of the time he is  by her.

 Buttercup has become Quinn's dog, and does not want the puppy anywhere near her.

 Cobalt is a snuggle bug and will cuddle when he is tired.

 He is spoiled and will be found in her arms most of the time.

 So it is exhausting here.  We do lots of training, potty time, playing and sleeping!

 With Isaiah working, he is not here very much to play, but he is doing a good job keeping Buttercup safe from that naughty puppy!

 It is nice to have Cobalt to distract us from this weird world we currently live in.

Another day out and about, makes Quinn such  a happy kid.

She thinks she is pretty awesome, as she has figured out how to use her mouth to pull her mask down!

 Started by getting a blood draw, then to food school.  She eats so good with Staci, not so much with me lately.

 Then Chrissy came over to put together her manual wheelchair.

 Quinn loved the busy day and is so excited to get back outside to learn and grow.  Not sure when it will happen, but we will keep being safe.  She did catch a cold, so we are working through that, but she is a trouper and working hard.
