So we got to Memphis knowing that my grandma and aunt were getting ready to move, and we also knew they were still grieving their husbands who we lost this last year.  We were ready to love them up.  We got a few curve balls.  Lots of folks were sick, really sick, so we stayed one place one night, and a different place the next night.  Packing with Quinn is not very light, so we got a good work out.
So we played with grandpa and grandma and Pam and Bella.

Then grandpa got an infection that got worse and worse, so we spent an evening in the emergency room.
The kids stayed at grandma's and slept.

Grandpa got out and we met the crew for breakfast, and then they were off to doctor appointments, and dad ended up going back to the hospital and got admitted for a few more days, as the infection got worse.  So we decided to pack up early and get out of everyones hair.  Our goal was to share some love, and we did get that done.

So we headed back home, but still stopped for some adventures on the way home.
We have learned that plan b and c and so on will happen and we will continue to make the best out of the situation!

After getting Quinn molded for her new wheelchair, we headed out to Memphis.  We knew that it would be an interesting trip.  With Grandma and Aunt Pam packing to move soon, and having both of them in the grieving phase, of loosing their husbands, we were going, planning on sharing lots of love and kindness.
We also talked about having fun during the process.

So we headed out, dad had to stay and work, so we were one short.

We stopped half way to take a break and swim.  All three kids love the water!
The kids thought it was so cool to see it snowing outside while they were swimming inside.
So they wanted you to see the snowflakes coming down.  To bad you can't really see them in the picture, they were beautiful!
Then back on the road to stop at the home of thrown rolls.  It's so fun to catch your food!

We are learning that we don't really fit in the fun toys outside anymore.
One of the gals loved Quinn and gave her a stuffed animal.  That lead to a great discussion about life and why she gets things when they other kids don't.  Life talks are always good!
Bridges always break up the drive, and we love the bridges.
So making the most of the drive is always fun!
I'm so lucky the kids are good travelers.
Now a days it's easy with technology.

Lots more to come.

You know how sometimes life does not go as planned.
So you have to switch to plan b or c or d or...
Well that happened to us over spring break.
We have  a crazy story,
but made the most of our crazy trip,
loved each other up,
and everyone survived.
So all in all it was a good break.
I will try to get the story told soon.
Just to tide us over,  look at the girls love each other,
the girls sure did love each other up in the hotel one night.
I love how the girls love each other, and am so thankful for our family!

Spring Break is starting off busy!
The girls had a girls night.
Learning about growing up!
I don't know how they get big so fast!
Then we did some art projects.

Then we got molded for Quinn's new wheelchair.  It's going to be so good to get her into one that fits again.  She was so excited.

The chair is like a beanbag, and they suck all the air out of it, for it to hold the shape around her body.  Then they either plaster it or scan it with technology to send the shape to the company to get it to fit just right!

then off to therapy.
then the dentist, no cavities for anyone!

Denali is not a fan of the dentist, but got through it!  Now to have some fun!

Denali was playing dolls with Quinn and decided to make brownies instead.  So she asked Isaiah if he would play dolls with Quinn so she could make brownies.  He being the awesome kid he is, said sure.  So the two of them played dolls for awhile.  I'm so thankful for my family!  I'm thankful Isaiah has a great dad, who will play dolls with the girls too, so it's not a big deal!

Grandma and Grandpa were down too, and it was nice because it was way to long since we saw them last.  Night time prayers and reading books with grandma is always wonderful too!  As they get bigger and bigger we have to keep reading and loving them up while we can.

Denali was ready and had been working hard for lots of time to grow out her hair, so she could donate it to kids who have lost their hair.

Isaiah got a haircut too, but was not very excited about it!

Just look at how cute she is, and sadly more grown up!
