Quinn got her stander redone, and it's awesome!
Better yet, she loves it!
Thanks to Chrissy and Kurt for getting that done!

Our motto!  Facebook created it, but hit it head on!  Love it!
We have really been working on having courage and being kind.  With a new school, it's been hard.  Quinn does not make it super easy for folks to understand her, and so we have to work hard to educate.  Denali is working super hard along with Quinn.  I forget how the kids at Maxey grew up with Quinn and loved and understood her.  Now we are starting over.  Denali comes home to tell me how some of their friends are a bit nervous around Quinn and don't know what to do around her.  So Denali continues to tell me that she is sure to invite Quinn to play with them, so they can see that she can play the same as they do.  Tells the girls they need to come over to our house and play with both Quinn and Denali, and continues to tell the kids that Quinn can do so much, so don't give up on her.  Oh did I ever hit the jackpot with my kids!  They are amazing!  I love how they love each other and continue to stick up for each other.

Isaiah has had courage to stand up for himself.  There are a few boys making bad choices in his class, and he is kind hearted and does not want to hurt them, at the same time, I talk to him about sticking up for himself.  Being mean and sticking up for yourself are two different things.  He comes home frustrated, but it is getting better!  He is finding a place where he is still kind but not stepped on.

Isaiah also just got put into the high achievers reading group, and is so excited.  I know that is where he should be, and it is being seen now.  I love that!

Quinn was also just featured on a Facebook page for her dance class.  We would love to have you come to the benefit!  We are going to have fun!
October 20th from 6 to 9.  Click on the pictures to read them better.
This one says:  Meet Quinn, she is one of our Dancing beyond Limits kids.  This is what dance means to Quinn.  She loves dance.  It is a place of acceptance.  It is a place of safety.  It is a place to make friends.  It is a place full of girls she loves.  It's a place to escape and be a kid, dance and move to the music and be accepted for who she is.  She also love to share the experience with her sister, who is a dance buddy volunteer.

The world is a good place as much as a not so great place.  We sure try to focus on the good and add to the good!
